Community and Environment
We are passionate about New Zealand. We’re a Kiwi company through and through, yet we celebrate the incredible diversity we have in our people. We all love it here in New Zealand and want to work hard to make it better. That’s why we are committed to our community and environmental projects.
Here’s a little bit about each:
Kiwi Conservation
Whakaangi Landcare Trust’s kiwi conservation
New Zealand is at risk of losing its "National Icon". Once there were millions of kiwi in NZ, there is now estimated to be less than 30,000. Populations are crashing where there is no protection work being carried out. Local extinctions have been recorded in Northland in recent years. Complacency is the kiwi’s greatest danger. Conferenz supports the direct work of Whakaangi Landcare Trust in its establishment of a kiwi conservation area. Read more.

KidsCan
KidsCan Charitable Trust
We are a Leading Light Sponsor of KidsCan charitable trust.
“Conferenz & Bright*Star are pleased to be a Leading Light sponsor of KidsCan. We strongly identify with KidsCan’s objectives and are thrilled to be playing our part to help make them a reality. We are a strongly family-oriented, 100% NZ-owned organisation and KidsCan’s aim to take care of the basic physical & nutritional needs of NZ’s disadvantaged children really struck a chord with us. We look forward to working closely with the KidsCan team to assist them in their goals.”
