Alex Hopkins (MBA, NZCE.Elect, NZCE.ComTech, M.MESNZ) is the Principal Adviser at OpEx Management Ltd. Alex has a Masters of Business Administration and has Electrical/Electronics Engineering qualifications. Alex has a strong and credible background in applied maintenance management having held senior management positions at Anchor Products and Carter Holt Harvey Ltd.

Alex specialises in the area of Total Asset Management within the industrial manufacturing sector and has worked in leading organisations within New Zealand to develop and implement significant asset management improvement projects. In these roles, Alex has been responsible for the development, implementation and management of effective engineering and maintenance services in a timely and cost effective manner across three of the largest manufacturing sites located in the South Island.
