Moving from combat to cooperation: Managing and mediating conflicts at work
6 July 2022 | 1:30p - 4:30pm

Conflict is a natural part of life and can be a healthy exchange of ideas that can grow into opportunities. But when people avoid conflict, or handle it badly, it can create a negative work culture and experience for everyone. This workshop will delve into how school leaders can help resolve conflict in a way that strengthens both teamwork and professional relationships.

  • Fostering healthy conflict instead of avoiding it
  • Sharing opinions constructively and objectively
  • Tapping into EQ to help navigate various levels of conflict
  • Communicating assertively, rather than aggressively
  • Mediating when you’re helping others resolve conflict
