    Core Skills and Knowledge for EAs, PAs, Event Co-ordinators and Administrators

    If your responsibilities include managing events and small-to-medium projects, you’ll need some foundation skills to ensure you’re on the right track!  All too often people are asked to assume key roles and responsibilities managing events and projects without much warning, and sometimes with no prior experience.  That’s not necessarily problematic, especially if you have a natural interest or flair in managing events or projects, but it can be daunting if suddenly you are accountable for planning, budgets, finances, and the overall success of your event or project.

    Learn more about what it takes to prepare for events, set up the right resources and deliver on the day. And cultivate your baseline knowledge around project management, including the language, tools and some fundamental concepts that you’ll need to be across for your projects to stay on track.

    This training course explores event and project management across two full days.  Day 1 has a distinct focus on events, while Day 2 is designed to build your knowledge and awareness in the specifics of project management.

    • Understand the key needs and expectations behind event briefs
    • Gain insights into event budgets and planning
    • Use tools to help manage tasks, timelines and deadlines
