The Strategic Executive Assistant: Business Acumen for Senior EAs and PAs

Event Details

Executive Assistants often get a unique insight into the business and how it operates, however to truly add value at the strategic level as a senior EA/PA you must learn to think strategically, apply critical thinking and problem solving skills, and gain a solid understanding of the principles of business management.

This training course will allow EAs and PAs to understand what your Executives’ key challenges are and to understand the decision making process within an organisation. This will allow you to better prioritise, knowing what is important in relation to organisational goals, so that you do not “work in the dark”.

Step up to a strategic level role, build your presence and influence within the Executive team, and cement your position as a valuable professional resource not just for your manager but for the wider organisation. The knowledge gained from the course will enhance your skills, knowledge and abilities to continue to widen the scope of your role.

    Past Attendee Testimonials

"The entire course was extremely useful. I especially likes the content on strategy, leadership and decision-making. Well organised course and excellent trainer. Pam created a really positive, supporting and safe environment. She was enthusiastic about the subject and very inspiring"
Rebecca Sykes, Finance & Academic Programmes Administrator, Universities New Zealand

"The trainer is a fantastic instructor who explained everything really well, allowed questions and was happy for subject related tangents. Willing to share her extensive wealth of knowledge and provided a supportive space and very inspiring. This was my second Bright*Star course and I have gotten so much out of both courses!"
Leisa Hood, Executive Assistant, Waikato Regional Council

"The facilitator has great skills at bringing the group together, is easy to listen to, and enables participants to feel confident to contribute. The number one skill I'll take away from this course are the critical characteristics of an exceptional EA. I have learnt to think of the bigger picture outside my own area, I will be more assertive and look to collaborate more"
